Cyclotherapy Systems

These systems incorporate the patented UniCam “Therapeutic Pedal System” to provide unique capabilities for therapists working with lower body rehabilitation, strength or endurance training.

Systems are designed specifically for the mobilization and strengthening of lower body, and their associated muscle groups. Unlike general exercise bikes, they can be configured to both the patient’s limitations, and the therapist's requirements.

The system can be adjusted in incremental steps from as little as 15 degrees ROM (at the knee) to full range. The ankle can be exercised through dorsi/plantar flexion and inversion/eversion.

Unique settings allow the capability for unilateral or bilateral isolated strengthening of quadriceps and hamstrings while the patient's range of motion is still very limited.

These systems are used by Physical Therapists/ Physiotherapists for rehabilitation both pre- and post surgery or trauma, by sports professionals for warm up and strengthening/endurance training, and for long term care and stroke rehabilitation.

The TPS systems bring together a well established and respected commercially available exercise bike with the proprietary, innovative and unique UniCam TPS (Therapeutic Pedal System).
