Vision Aquatics General Information

TheraStream™ 5HP or SportStream™ 7.5HP
(Tri-Laminar Systems), Three Flow Boxes

Tri-Laminar technology generates flow from the top of the pool to the bottom with three distinct horizontal levels of variable water velocity that can be controlled independently, like all of our TheraStream™ models, at the poolside or by wireless remote control. The Vision Aquatics™ single and multi-level laminar flow systems offer more flexibility with current resistance, which can be easily adjusted to treat each patient’s specific therapy needs by producing low velocity resistance water flow to facilitate recovery from acute injuries. Because you can control the flow of water velocity to target certain muscle groups in the body, resistance training is specific and individualized with our laminar systems. The Tri-Laminar System is available in the 5 HP TheraStream™ or the 7 ½ HP SportStream™ models which can be interchangeable at any level to provide you with further customization of your Vision propulsion system.

TheraStream™ Axial Flow Therapy Pump

The TheraStream pump is the heart of Visions Propulsion system. It was exclusively developed and engineered by Vision Aquatics to optimize water flow velocity and energy efficiency. This masterful drive system is built for extreme durability with simplicity in design to provide years of reliable care-free service. Vision provides you with digital poolside LED controls in all commercial models.

Pool Installation Information

Pool installation requires a consultation with Vision Aquatics to determine the pools size, weight, excavation dimensions, footprint medium and delivery methods. Vision Aquatics pools can be installed fully or partially in-ground and backfilled or completely above ground. However, this information needs to be determined prior to manufacturing to ensure structural reinforcement. Additionally, the installed pool must sit on a level, engineered slab specially designed to support the pools actual weight.

Vision Aquatics construction specialists work to ensure that the installation of any Vision Aquatics pool is a simple process for both the clients architect and contractor. Site specific drawings and detailed pool elevation drawings are essential tools for a cost-effective installation. Vision Aquatics on-site consulting is available upon request. All Vision Aquatics pools are manufactured with fill line outlet and overflow protection inlets for optimal waterline maintenance.

Construction Management

Formal consultations are available at any point during the planning process through Vision Aquatics Construction Management Department. The departments professional construction consultants can assist the clients architect and contractor accordingly. Vision Aquatics recommends an on-site visit early in the planning process from a Construction Management representative. This will undoubtedly save the client more money in the long run, and create a smoother installation process.

Electrical Requirements

  • Circulation System: 100 amps, 220/240 volts, single phase.
  • Electric Heater: 75 amp, 240 volt, single phase or 50 amp, 240 volt, three phase.
  • Propulsion System: 50 amp, 208/240 volt, three phase or 30 amp, 480 volt, three phase for each propulsion motor.

Plumbing Requirements

Plumbing schematics are provided for the pool piping and equipment only. However, they do not indicate the required deck drains, sewer drains, or sump pumps. All Vision Aquatics pools are manufacturered with fill line outlet and overflow protection inlets for optimal waterline maintenance.

Environmental Controls
